Hale Maile - Beach 69 - Puako Beach House

We had nearly 3 weeks here. This was our 4th stay and the new owners have done a good job of rejuvenating it. We were impressed by the service from coastal properties, good communication and a minor problem with a faulty toaster was fixed within an hour by a replacement. Likewise we needed a new water filter and they replaced it straight away. We have had over 20 rentals in puako and Wailea bay over the years and on balance this one is good value for price and has everything you need. It is 3 or 4 minutes walk to the beautiful beach to watch the sunset. (Twice we had the whole beach to ourselves for sunset). We had all our meals on the lanai which is mercifully mosquito free. Air conditioning was great. The Ormrod family , Auckland.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at this house. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, the house had a decent view towards the ocean, and was a short 2 block walk to the beach. Snorkeling was great at the beach and it wasn't too crowded. The house had plenty of room and had lots of decent cooking pots, pans, and utensils. Geckos laid eggs in and screwed up the master bedroom AC unit so it wasn't working when we got there, but the house host was quick to get it fixed. We'd definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Beautiful property, outstanding location. House could use a deep clean and minor maintenance/ upkeep. Very quiet neighbourhood & gorgeous beach access, but not exactly swimmable. Loved the outdoor space and access to beach gear.

I loved everything about my stay. I wouldn’t change a thing.Great neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. Old Hawaii at it’s best!
